Every type 3 came with the left gauge cluster (with the 4 idiot
lights and the fuel gauge) and a speedometer/odometer in the center.
The vast majority also came with a clock in the right hole. A few
bare-bones basic models came with a blank plug instead of a clock.
I don't think the tach was ever delivered from the factory, except
possibly for the type 34 Ghias. For the other body styles, the tach
was strictly aftermarket (which would include dealer-installed.)
