I had the loose rear nut, tightened it to torque several times and it kept
working loose (not backing off with the cotter key but becoming loose) then
I discovered a cracked outer bearing race... replaced everything and all has
been fine for 70K or so.

I put all new bearings on the front when I got my last rotors, packed alot
of grease as Jim mentioned, and they were still fine 80K later when I
changed the rotors again...
