My 73 has had both front bearings and right rear replaced. The mileage of the
rear was about ~175k kms, both fronts at ~150k kms. Bearings are a wear item,
I'm surpirsed some of you have never experienced bad bearings.

I am willing to believe that IRS bearings are more prone to wear than Schwing
type bearings, they are constantly soaked in tranny oil and can never run dry
(well they can, but they would still outlive the then dried up tranny)
