Here is part of my message I made a reply to from the list.

automobiles today, is the proper one and affords the most protection.

They are not being reproduced, you can only find them used.  Prices vary but
if you pay over $50 you're paying too much.  However, since they aren't
common and good condition ones are becoming more rare.

Yours will not fit on a T3 unless you make some sort of custom bracket.
Remember, 9 out of 10 after-market places don't know what a Type III is and
wrongfully assume if it works for a Bug it'll work for a T3.
