Herman,
We use Goodyear Eagle Touring 185-65-R14 x 6" rims on the square and have
the benefits of which you speak. Viktor the Variant is also lowered 2" so
the wheels don't look small and the handling is excellent. When we have the
time to spend on the suspension geometry we may go to larger wheels, but for
a quick, economical fix it's a beaut!
