Look for air-leaks - as you know, the FI system increases fuel depending on
the manifold vacuum - less vacuum, more fuel.  It could just be a rubber
hose loose or split.  Get a piece of rubber hose and listen to different
parts of the engine compartment like a stethoscope; it's surprisingly good
for locating the hissing of air getting in.
