Having recently been inside a T3 tunnel on a fuelie adding a clutch tube, I
would have to agree that the odds are against a fuel tube rotting away. But
If your tunnel has a leak and is trapping water inside, it is possible.
Barring finding any leaky hoses connected to the fuel lines, try the
pressure test, just don't use a match for a lite! :-o. My hunch is that the
28 year old rubber fuel lines have rotted away. Replace all of the hoses at
once with a good grade and don't use them damn worm drive hose clamps, use
the banded type that don't cut the hose. Harder to find but a good flaps
should be able to get them.
