[T3] Auto Kickdown Switch

Does the automatic kickdown switch affect anything other than the kickdown
solenoid?  Starting some time last week, I've noticed that my car bogs (as
if it is flooding) at high rpms when I give it more than about 3/4 gas.
This only happens when the car is warm and if I release the gas pedal then
maintain speed it will be fine.  If I try to accelerate quickly again it
will typically bog again.  My logic is this.  Because it only happens when
the engine is warm, whatever the FI equivalent of an automatic choke is must
be keeping the mixture a little lean when the car is cool, preventing my
little problem.  Since I found that my kickdown switch is broken in half and
the actuating lever is gone, I'm hoping that this switch also actuated
something that leans the mixture at higher throttle positions or an ignition
advance of some sort.  Of course given my limited knowledge, I could be
completely off base.  Any hints?

PS:  Anybody have a kickdown switch for sale?
