[T3] Rear Suspension Question
I've been trying to get my suspension back in spec. Everything is fine
except the rear camber it is visibly wrong. It's my understanding that it
is supposed to be a degree or so positive, but it is visibly negative. ( I
often get those confused so for illustrative purposes they look like
this /-----\ rather than like
this |-----|.)
The Bentley manual suggests that this is adjustable via the spring
plates, but it does not indicate at what point adjustment is not an option,
and replacement of torsion bars is necessary. The shop that did the
alignment for me said that camber on the rear was not adjustable at all
after they had already had the car for a day. I'm a little bit peeved,
because I made sure to ask up front if they could handle a four wheel
alignment on my car and that I was particularly concerned with the rear
camber they told me that it would not be a problem. Any information,
knowledge, or experience would be a big help.
