I see what you mean Charlie. "It's Good Used, but it's NOS!"
So how can it be "good used condition" but still be NOS???!
Is there a new NOS term I'm not familiar with? I always thought NOS stood for New Old Stock which meant that the part was an old part, but never installed, making it still a new part. Shelf wear should be the only damage to it (ie. dust).
Maybe it has a new meaning: (Please choose from the following)
Newbie Overcharged Severely
Novice Obscenely Screwed
Never Omit Surcharge
Not Only Stupid (but now he's broke)
for that matter
Nasty Oblique Surely (a newbie will never know it doesn't mean anything)
(stepping off soap box...)
