Have all parts blue-printed and balanced and the rotating parts spin-balanced. After the break-in period is done switch to synthetic oil, but only if you have a Gene Berg full flow oil filter system installed! This alone will increase the life of the engine and a modification I highly recommend! For pictures see my web site: http://www.icbm.org/erkson/personal/bumper.jpg http://www.icbm.org/erkson/ttt/engine.html For a tad more hp on the upper end you can have the cam gear notched -- a groove is cut around the center circumference of the teeth, allowing oil to be removed a little more easily when the teeth mesh with the crank. Match porting the intakes/exhaust allows air to flow more readily which helps pull some more hp. Talk to your engine builder about your options. A good builder will know the little extras that can be done to help free up hp yet retain the stockness of the engine.
