This is kind of a long shot, but here goes: There is a manuf. here in Sweden that have a kit for peroxide injection, which helps up the combustion and thus reduces the emissions. http://www.pfisystem.com/eng/index.htm The english part of the site is only a short description about the kit for twostroke snowmobile engines, but the tecnique works well on four-strokers, too. They have made seroius research in Kanada on heavy diesel engines. On one of the swedish-language pages ( http://www.pfisystem.com/swe/prod/prod.htm) they claim that a 1977 VW Golf was equipped with the PFI and then taken through the goverments test station. CO was lowered from 3,5% to 0,1%. HC was lowered from 100 ppm to 44 ppm, nothing else changed. I think this could be something for all you who suffers under emission harrassment.
