Well it's black now. I quite like the look of that, sort of distinguished,
so I guess I'll leave it. Our first Beetle ('74 1200 sports wheels) had
black beading and the second one (75 1300) had yellow to match the paint.

Well I just emailed T3D. Their web page claims that they have the beading.
I'll see what they say when they email back in a month or so.

Would Beetle beading be OK? It would be easier to get and might be cheaper.

Bentley manual arrived yesterday so I *think* I know where you got the nice
texture on your web page.
