I noticed Jim said he had Sprint Stars on his car, so maybe they should have special lug bolts. I believe you are meant to use special bolts on Porsche Fuchs alloys. Sonny >> The odd thing is, the wheels had been painted about 8 months before, and the last time they were off the car was early september, so I'm still clueless as to how the lugs worked loose. I do use the same lug bolts I used with my stock steelies, and I haven't had any trouble before. Sprints are just the same as stock wheels, just pressed to a different pattern (and available in widths). The lug holes aren't painted or ovaled out (oblongated?). Maybe it was sabotage, those evil neighbor kids with their lug wrenches must be out to get me, go figure. By the way, I've been in a friends 64 Notch twice when the wheels have come off at neighborhood speeds, both times were the fault of my bonehead friend who forgot to tighten them up. Neither time caused much damage other than to his ego. -jim 65 notch (sparky) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
