everyone's stories have been about other people screwing up. well, i did it myself when i was 16. just didn't have them tight enough. well, i start to hear a clunking noise, like something is bouncing around in my hubcap (!). and then the back of the car just got lower on one side. luckily i was going about 15 mph and i was able to stop. the brake drum was just sitting on the inside of the rim, and no damage was done! needless to say, the noise was the lugs nuts bouncing around in the hubcap (but it could have been the sound of my tiny 16 year old brain bouncing around in my head!)
