You might try loosening the fasteners on each end and retightening just to break through any corrosion. > this whole thing doesn't make sense to me... Agreed. There must be a bad connection somewhere. It may be in the ignition switch. or anywhere else in the wiring. All the push on lugs have to be TIGHT on their connections in order to provide the necessary reliability and conductivity.
