Hi gang, The last time I drove my car, I noticed something smelled like it was burning when I got home. I put the fact that my brake pedal went away (zero pedal travel) together with the fact that when I did brake, she pulled to the right and came up with the conclusion that my left caliper was dragging and frozen. So today, I decided to get out there and get dirty. I pulled the caliper off and noticed there was no spreader spring in the there with the pads. Anyone have one cheap? The right side has its spring. Should I attempt the rebuild or just pull the caliper off and take it somewhere? Also, I decided to go ahead and change out the wheel bearings on both sides. While spinning the left disc to knock the dust cap off, I noticed some "tinging" like something was rolling around in there. The things that were rolling around in there were the well-rounded nuts that go on the bolts that hold the steering arm. The washers had long since fallen out, I'm sure. I pulled one bolt off to try and find some replacements. They were well-worn also, and I think this is where the odd-steering, thumping noises and wobbly front wheel were coming from. Haven't attacked the back yet - that's next. My question on this is that the bolt head is marked "Kamax 10 9". Should I get a grade 10 bolt? Or a 9? Or is that marking something different?
