hi, First off, I've taken my 50w brake lights off and put them in the pile of things that have wasted money. I've got a pair of nos 70's style french round fog lamps on my Squareback. They have flat clear glass lenses, they take 55w h3's. The seller told me he had tryed putting 100w bulbs in and the extra heat cracked the lenses. so if i up grade the bulbs I don't want more heat :-) I've seen PIAAs and others that claim to get more light from the same wattage, But do they produce more heat too? I was also wondering if anybody has any input on the color selection question? The lenses spread light all over the place so I'm assuming they are "clear fog" lenses. If I use a "Yellow Ion" bulb, will the yellow color help in the fog, rain, and snow? Or will I just make my car look like I spend too much money at JC whitney? ;-) Thanks Ned '69 Squareback that's meeting it's first non-CA winter head on :-0 __________________________________________________ This message is intended only for the use of the Addressee and may contain information that is PRIVILEGED and CONFIDENTIAL.
