I took Jim's advice and I loosened up the intake air runners and distributor and let them all line up, then tightend them down again. Same problem. I have all of the hoses connected and even replaced all the old ones. In my frustration I pulled the hose off of the intake distributor and the idle slowed a bit. So I thought what the heck and covered the hole into the intake with my finger and started blowing into the hose that leads to the pressure sensor and it started to slow down. That has to be a symptom of something...(insert anything about my intellagence here for even admitting that I did it). The dumb thing ran great until I dropped the engine out to clean it up. I made sure to lable everything and got it all put back just right. Could it be a sign that the pressure sensor is going or even the control box?
