The long answer is that it will be a very long time before you get it working nearly as well as the FI should work. The 69 FI is a good system and you should be able to fix whatever problems it has pretty cheaply. The 69 FI gives very good fuel economy and excellent power. Your best bet would be to post your problems here and let us help you solve them. Do NOT go into carbs assuming that they will simply bolt on and work properly. There are many people on this list who have spent lots of time and money trying to sort out their carbs. Even though they were SUPPOSED to be a solution, they often turn out to be more of a PROBLEM.
