The T3 cooling system works just fine -- I say better than the T1 -- 
when all its parts are in place and unblocked. Overheating is generally 
caused by ignition problems, not cooling problems. There is no need to 
reinvent the cooling system, those canny Churmans did a pretty good job 
on their own. Just make sure your engine is complete and running within 
spec.
