Me car, she is broke AGAIN! Now that I made 380 people sad, let me tell you a story: I have, for the last week or so been driving 30 Km to work, 80 Km to class and then 80 Km back home late a night, a total of 190 Km a day. As I was on my way to my last night of class I stopped, as I always do, at the filling station to get some sustenance. Gearing back to second the car started to jerk and the rear wheels locked. I thought I accidentally put the car in reverse, so I put her in neutral and coasted into a parking bay. There I waited for 20 min to let her cool down a bit as well as recharge my batteries with an energy bar. I restarted her no problem but could not get her into first or second gear. Well I had a another 20 Km left to go so here we go with 3rd and 4th only. Luckily most of the driving was highway, with her whining away merrily. Well, as soon as I got to town I needed a lower gear, but none were available, so with some pushing and shoving I eventually got&;GÆ s to write my final exam in programming (ACED it by the way, thanx to the adrenaline boost of kicking the sh*t out of the tire). Now she is stuck 80 Km from me in a dark and lonely place, with a mechanic I don't know looking under her skirt and flirting with my income of the last 3 years. On the up side, he is a imported German VW mac. that knew exactly what a 66 T III fasty was. Now I am a VB Programmer / Metallurgist / Project Manager with no car, cos I am in need of a gearbox. Aaa well...............
