IRNÿÛ d it right, then you would move over exactly one lobe on the cam and the points would look exactly the same as before, just one lobe over. The dist runs 1/2 as fast an 1/2 as far as the crank, so to adjust all 4 cyls you must run the dist around 1 full turn, or the crank 2 full turns. > Also i have seen some pictures of the marking on the top fedge of the dizzy > showing the marking pointing to 2 o'clock and others showing it pointing to > 8 o'clock. Mine points to 8 o'clock. Who is right? As seen from the rear of the car, I expect to see #1 at about 4-5 o'clock. Are you using a type 3 dist?
