Hey Volks, I installed the passenger door panel in m›fs ver the weekend. It's a repro from J-BUGS made by TMI. The ones I have do have the pocket. Fit and finish are very nice and it was a breeze to install. The arm rest transferred over without incident (it had a stamp in it -- 12Feb72, which matches the birth month/year of my baby). I decided not to cut into it for a speaker. I may have a pod made at a stereo shop to place over it, but for now I'll just use the rear speaker boxes for sound. I did spray the backside with Scotchguard, which is an ordinary waterproofing spray for fabrics. Just for good measure. While I had it all apart I attacked the surface rust that was forming by sanding it and using Corroless rust inhibitor/conversion primer. You wanna find some rust? Poke your head into the door and look up into the are where the window squeegee is. You'll see the spring clips for, uhm, something and where the outer door skin curves in, then up to the glass, is where I saw a WHOLE lot of surface rust. Damn difficult to get a paint brush up there but I got most of it covered.
