The 88's will give you a noticable improvement and are worth the extra
money. While displacement is usually a winner when it comes to horsepower,
the VW engine responds equally well to head improvements to improve air
flow. Minor changes to the combution chamber and ports can give you big
gains with the proper carburation. If you plan on keeping this car for more
than a couple of years, spend twice the price and get a motor that works
twice as good and lasts twice as long...seriously. Stick with the Berg
recommen’Ýþ>and parts, and you won't be disappointed.
