Volks-

I had the same reaction/questions after Jim's post... I thought Jim was
surely the owner of a specialty Type III-only parts and service business!
I hereby nominate Jim Adney as the World's Ultimate Hobbiest!!

PS I implore everyone who cares about the information stored on their
harddrives to do a backup like, NOW! My computer sucked a valve (or
*something* ;) last week and my power supply, motherboard, CDRW drive and,
most importantly, my hªÚ& all fried at once. The reason I mention it
here is because I had developed an epic archive of posts to the TIII list
over the last 3-4 years, (including hundreds of posts by Jim, Toby and the
many other hardcore devotees of the list) that is now HISTORY! I used to
brag to my friends that I could build a TIII from scratch with the combined
wisdom I had accumulated in that email folder. <sigh> C'est la vie but I
wanted to share the experience so others might not suffer the same fate!
