First, keep in mind I'm in central Florida- local has ALOT to do with price- In Pensacola, Florida you can buy a bug, running, for less than $300. Bought 23 for $65 at a yard sale once. Here in central Florida its not quite like that, but Type IIIs are still pretty unknown. Going price here for a running one, daily driver material, is about $1200. I personally haven't paid over $50 for a Type III (ooops - except for the $500 Square that I was trading bus work for ) Those deals are hard to find- but for $2900 dollars, around here, it had better be darn nice. Real nice. No problems. Good paint, interior, and all that stuff.
