Is the yellow band on the outside end of the rear torsion bars from my now fully scrapped '69 Squareback some kind of weight rating? (It seems unlikely that they simply mark the outer end from the inner, as they differ anyway, and as they have an L and R [for left and right] on the outer ends, which would already serve to identify the outer end). For which years/models would these bars be stock? Would they be a suitable upgrade for any other typeIIIs?
