That's the older type; always more reliable, and the click's reassuring. My new style works OK, unless I disconnect. It sometimes needs a tap to get it going again after disconnecting. There was a guy from Cambridge (UK) with a fabulous '73 Fastback, not a hair out of place, but the clock didn't run. He said the clock hadn't worked since the car was 3 years old, so he considered it an original feature! I wouldn't have minded having the car, if only to get the clock working again, but he reckoned it was worth £13,000 (that's about $20,000), and about twice what the car was worÁs? I'll put a pic up on the website when I get a chance, but it still wouldn't really do the car justice. Aedan, take a look at the fuelgauge page on my website; it shows how to overhaul the sender unit. Dave.
