[T3] administrivia: micron.net filtering / HTML messages

To Vader:

You seem to be the only person who can get HTML messages through
to the list, despite my filters!

I am working hard to filter out the ones from your mailer, too.
See, it's against list policy to send HTML messages. Instead of an
on-your-honor kind of thing, I let the computer do the work & just
auto-reject such posts.

Could you try to set up your mailer to *not* send HTML messages to
the list in the meantime?

To Vader & Neil (and any others @micron.net):

I have some answers re: why list mail to you is bouncing (I'm
presuming you're reading this on the Web). micr-¨Βέses a service
which provides names of "naughty" mail servers that allow spamming.
micron.net refuses any and all mail from such servers. The SMTP server
used by VWVType3.Org is indeed secure against spamming, but is still
listed by the service used by micron.net. Why?

Well... VWType3.Org's mail server is in the domain
yourwebhost.com. It's a legit, secure mail server, but its name is a
likely sort of name that would be used by spammers. Our presence provider
for VWType3.Org, alabanza.com, is in communication with the listing
service to get its name cleared. After it's cleared, and after the update
propogates to micron.net, then micron.net will allow the VWType3.Org mail
to come to you.

	Whew!

Thanks!
-Greg Merritt
