I got a dash from one of the vendors in the back of VW Trends. I had to let it sit in the sun for a few hours and then really pull on it to get about and 1/8," but that still wasn't enough. It seems to fit ok, just a little short (1/2"). Also, I needed to install two tabs on the part that goes right under the lower part of the window seal. That is so that i could use the original mounting screw positions. If anyone has any questions about exactly how, write me directly. In all, it looks pretty good.
