Change the filter first and get a clean filter sock into the tank. If it still has weak delivery at the back, check the pumping at the front, the line through the body might be scaled up. Also check how long the pressure stays up in the line after shutoff with a pressure gauge. Jim says he's never seen one do it, but I've had several pumps go bad by losing the tip off the pressure relief valve in the pump. Symptoms are low volume and the pressure doesn't stay up after shutoff If tested off the car, the pumps's return line has more coming out of it than the delivery line. Obviously, if you do such testing, use naptha or paint thinner instead of gasoline. Fresh hose all the way around, if you haven't done so yet, isn't a bad idea either, as long as you're under there.
