Luckily, the Variant does not have a very big tank, but when I fill up my '88 Vanagon, I also drain my bank account. This Vanagon needs 98 octane gas, and 70 litres of it. $1.18 x 70l = $82,6 for a full tank. The worst thing about it, is that 75% of the price is tax...and Norway is one of the biggest oil pumpers in the world....and with the oil rpice being the at the lowest in 15 years, the gas rpice still went up.... arrrgh PerL ( just steaming a bit ) '73 Variant ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org
