All I can say is... Congratulations! Hope you and your 412 have a happy
relationship. I also must admit I am envious... The 411/412 cars are a really
endagered species, I see one a year here in Norway, if I'm lucky. Occasionally
there is one for sale, at a fantasy price. The Type 4 never sold any much here, it
was too expensive compared to the Type 3, and most people in the market for a VW
wagon mostly bought the cheaper Type 3 instead (both cars were mostly sold in the
Variant version). Maybe Norwegians never got used to the "luxury" flare of the
Type 4 cars, as they were used to the Beetle, and its simple way of life.
Nowadays, they are popular among the VW-fans, and expensive.
