I wish I knew what the cause was. My '69 Bug I'm restoring has one heck of a clogged fuel line in it. So much so, I'm about to give up on cleaning it and just run another one. The car had sat for about 10 years with 'gas' still in the system. Man, does that stuff stink! The liquid doesn't evaporate like gas anymore and is kind of yellow looking. The 'dried' stuff is like a black goo. I've tried carb cleaner and gumout in the tube with the little spray5>dq Antenna guide wire in a drill and still I can't break thru it. Even 120psi air pressure. Next will be a solid welding rod in the line from the rear of the car with the drill. Regards, Tom Cloud '69 Bug '69 Fastback!
