Well, acording to the Bosch FI book, it's supposed to even out the
pulsations from the roller pump.  Must be there for a reason,
oth(they wouldn't have included it as standard equipment.  It's
just a diaphram with a small hole in it to even out the flow.  Nofancy
valving or anything.
