Ok, so I threw out the crappy old weather stripping for my rear fenders,

not thinking to save a piece for comparison, since I assumed that I'd be

buying new.  So when I'm at the my local self-service junk yard, looking

for weather stripping for my rear fenders, I need to look for something
that extends out 35mm, I think Dave said.  But what is the range that
would work, does anyone know?  Also, what is the profile of this stuff.
Does it extend straight out in line with the internal clips, or is it
angledť 2žanyone have any suggestions for likely prospects for
checking out, like 'get the stuff from the trunk of a Monte Carlo,' or
something of that nature?
