Cheap work = cheap results. Save some money and get a quality job...it's
less expensive in the long run ;)
My mechanic recommends Auto Body Excellence, 848-2886, located in Hillsboro.
They are familiar with the thicker panels of the older cars and do regular
work on the older cars (mostly Type 1s, of course). They have my fender and
when I get my engine finished they'll be completing the fender.

This is only my opinion but.........If the vacuum advance distributor is
working properly I have never had difficulties on a stock engine.
I have an 050 for the type 4 but that is because of the dual webers and more
of a performance curve. If the vacuum advances were such junk they would
never had made production. Sort of like FI.
