I am sending this warning to several of the people that I have corresponded with lately. I got an email which carried a Trojan horse as an attachment and I was foolish enough to run the program. I think I now have it under control, but if you get this message, as I did, from a stranger, just delete it. Here is the message: *********************** Date sent: Mon, 01 Mar 1999 23:10:37 -0500 From: "Victoria Johnes" <viki78@harvard.edu> To: <> Subject: photos Hi, I'm sending you the photos, that we have told about! many kisses, Viki! **************** There is no harm in reading the message, but you should NOT attempt to run the executable file (photos17.exe) that is sent along with it. If your curiosity gets the best of you,as mine did. You will have some problems that you are probably not aware of. You may contact me for more info if you have done this. Sorry for the interruption.
