The word "boxer" in the au¨<¡ realm refers to a boxer engine. Our
engines and others, like the Porsche 911, Porsche Boxster ("boxer" engine
and "speedster" styling combined into one word) and the Subaru, are boxer
engines. A boxer engine is one where the pistons are horizontally opposed.
Such a configuration makes the engine look like a box.
