Whats the condition of the big rubber accordion boot in the rear of the engine compartment (goes to the fan housing)? When I first faÖS0 allowed my engine to be worked on by a really good guy who had some gorgeous beetles in his garage (at a time when I knew nothing about this site or T-3s for that matter - illadvised for any newcomer), on top of god knows what else he did besides give me these Weber carbs which I'll never figure out, he left this boot off because it was in lousy shape and for some reason decided not to fork out the few extra $$ for a new one. Thought it wouldnt matter. It took me about two hours on the road before the car did just that, Had to pull over. Probably not your problem, but good to bear in mind. Still living with the curse of a good intentions in the early days of ownership, Anyone have any idea where I can get ICT34 specs? Dont send me to that warehouse place. Theyre useless over there. I'm talking specific ICT34 specs. Haynes Weber manual doesnt have them. Otherwise I might have to spend some time at a T1 site to find them.
