You take what you can get from them. One of them -- I get both and in my head they blend together -- detailed how to remove the cam *without* cracking open the case! Of course, the timing gear must be of the bolt-on variety. Yeah, I get them for the air-cooled content and don't really give a hoot one way or another about the H2O stuff. VW POWER and EUROPEAN CAR give me the real good stuff for them. BTW, there are far more air-cooled advertisers in 'Trends and HotVWs than there are H2O advertisers. Remember, the mags are dedicated to ALL VWs, air and water, and have never claimed to prefer one over the other. The reason there aren't many articles/features on the T3 is that there aren't that many that are out there, especially when compared to the T1! Add to that the fact that most are in less-than-perfect condition and of course there won't be much focus on them...duuuh! It's because the T3 is so uncommon that I like it. Bugs are everywhere, just like the Jetta and Neon and Civic, but a T3 stands out because ya just don't see 'em every day! Think about it, what would the mags have to gain by excluding the T3?
