Take a live wire to the connector on the middle of the switch part of the light, and a wire from the other to a pin switch to earth it when the tailgate is opened. If you can't connect to the other interior light +, use an in-line fuse and link it to a permanently live connection. Hmm, think you may have to go to the fuse-holder anyway for that one. Dave.
