Notchbacks were imported to Canada, and a > few as POVs (Private owned Vehicles). This probably accounts for the > scarcity of Notchbacks in the USA. Mine was brought over from Belgium by the original owner. We even have the bill-of-lading which shows the point of origin as Antwerp. The front fenders still have two small dents from being strapped down on the ship. I didn't know what they could have been from, two identical marks, one on each side. One day I was pointing it out to my father-in-law and he imm ãY said they were from the strap. He spent 24 years in the Marine Corps and in that time spent a lot of time on aircraft carriers, strapping down his helicopter and equipment.
