There are 2 problems with this: The first is tha s a very vulnerable place to put a filter. The second is that it doesn't work very well to put a filter on the suction side of the oil pump. The pump will have a hard time priming, and it will also tend to cavitate. Either a ground clearance problem or cavitation could leave your engine with insufficient lubrication.
