63-69 probably because they are off a Type 34 Ghia, and those are the years@C bt they would fit all those, if only because the auto-chokes couldn't be both 6V and 12V. Also 1500 and 1600 engines need different jets. I think the single/twin port probably doesn't matter since there are headers between carb and head. I don't think the (minimal) rebuild kits care which engine they are for. There are many detail changes in carbs, but they work on the same principle, and the differences are evolutionary rather than revolutionary. BTW, if Type 3, they should be described as 32PDSIT-2 and 32PDSIT-3, signifying the left and right (note, the other way round from VW conventions with even for left-hand side!). Dave.
