        You basically can't go wrong at that price -- any restoration, or
even routine maintenance and operation will soon dwarf the purchase price.  
Consider the car basically "free" in the long run!  You've got quite a    
deal!

        I paid five hundred bucks for my first Squareback.  In the past   
eight or so years, I've payed way more than that in just gas alone.  May  
have spent that much on brakes in that time.  The purchase price, while it
felt like a good chunk of change at the time, became completely negligible
in the long run.
