Are the float bowls on your carbs toward the back of the car from the
intakes? If so, I'd be looking hard at the idea that fuel is getting up
into your overflow tube and into the intake stream. Could your floats be
set way too high? Is there a part missing that would otherwise block a
certain passage? Take a carb off, fill it with fuel, and tip it forward.
What happens at what inclination?
