" Chris k\Q lso happened to me coming back from a VW part quest about 30 miles from home. I pulled it thru the engine and threw the cable over the seats, pulling it with my right hand when needed. it was VERY hard, but worked. As posted before - this is the easiest repair that I've done. Just push it thru and hook the ends - and your off!
