The very bad design OE MC that came on the 68-9s was superceded by 
the later MC. You can retain the function of all the parts if you use 
the late (3 term) brake light switches with the late MC and then swap 
the brake light wiring ha™úš.th one from a 70-3. This harness 
only runs from the MC to the floor of the trunk and is easy to swap. 

This harness is another part that I am always careful to save when I 
part out a car.
